Jakarta, Indonesia – Akulaku Group recently welcomed senior representatives from HSBC Innovation Banking to its Indonesia office for an exchange of perspectives on the country’s evolving fintech and digital financial services landscape.

The visiting delegation included Neil Falconer, Head of Innovation Banking, Singapore, and Christina Lee, Head of Investor Coverage, Innovation Banking, at HSBC. They were joined by Fan Zhang, CFO of Akulaku Group, and Perry Barman Slangor, CEO of PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia (AFI).

During the visit, the two sides exchanged views on developments shaping Indonesia’s fintech sector and discussed the opportunities and dynamics of one of Southeast Asia’s largest digital financial services markets. Akulaku shared on-the-ground perspectives drawn from its experience operating in Indonesia, including observations on evolving consumer needs, digital financial services adoption, and the broader development of the industry.
