Akulaku Finance Increases Financial Inclusion at FinExpo 2025

Jakarta (ANTARA) – PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia participated in FinExpo 2025, an event held by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) as part of the Financial Inclusion Month (BIK) series to improve financial literacy and inclusion in the community.

The event took place at the Atrium Tunjungan Plaza 6, Surabaya, on October 23-26, 2025, and featured various financial services institutions collaborating to expand financial access and education for the public.

“Our participation in FinExpo 2025 is a concrete manifestation of Akulaku Finance Indonesia’s commitment to supporting increased financial inclusion in Indonesia,” said PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia President Director Perry Barman Slangor in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.

Through these activities, he said his company is striving to increase public understanding of the benefits of digital financial services and the importance of conducting financial transactions wisely and responsibly.

As one of the main agenda items in the Financial Inclusion Month commemoration, Perry is optimistic that FinExpo 2025 will be able to drive regional economic growth, particularly in Surabaya and East Java.

According to him, as the second largest metropolitan city in Indonesia, Surabaya has great potential in adopting digital financial services.

Through activities at exhibition booths and interactive sessions, the company strives to provide the public with firsthand experience regarding the benefits and ease of using digital financial technology.

At the event, the company introduced Akulaku PayLater, a digital financing solution that provides payment flexibility and helps people manage their cash flow.

This service can be used for offline and online transactions, thus supporting the digital lifestyle of urban communities.

By participating in FinExpo 2025, Akulaku Finance Indonesia hopes to contribute to expanding the reach of the national financial inclusion program while raising public awareness of healthy and modern financial management.

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) recorded that financing receivables from finance companies grew 1.26 percent year-on-year (yoy) in August 2025 to IDR 505.59 trillion, supported by a 7.62 percent year-on-year increase in working capital financing.
